What is this device?
It's small, battery powered router which converts 900/2100MHz 3G connectivity to
Wi-Fi signal (with WPA/WPA2 security protocols available). There are other
versions on the market too (5830, 5836, 5838), but only E5832 supports 900MHz 3G
signal. This device doesn't have display, to indicate status five LED lights are
used. Battery life is approximately 4 hours. It was known under codename i-Mo.
Is it possible to upgrade from
old/buggy/limited firmware?
Yes, of course. However, it's not as easy as it used to be with most of older
Huawei's USB sticks like E160. There are much less firmware versions available (some
of them mentioned below).

Version with the highest number was mentioned on DC Unlocker forums, I wasn't able to find this file. Second and third highest versions are buggy, they identify themselves as 676.* instead of correct numbers.
How do I upgrade firmware?
Hongkonian provider PCCW (owner of Netvigator brand) published nice guide on
their website, go ahead and
download it. Don't worry, it's in English!
